Tantra Yoga

The Kaula Yoga system taught at Shri Kali Ashram is unique because it combines tantric concepts with yoga Āsana. The series consists of Āsana, Pranayama, and Bandhas all working to support one another. The Āsana series is gentle yet firm; overtime it builds external strength as well as balances mental and physical health.

 

Tantra Yoga is a meditative series that teaches the whole body, every cell to meditate. When we relax in Āsanas, we are culturing the whole self, every cell, including our subconscious, to integrate meditation. Meditation then not only becomes an intellectual process, but an integrated and actualized experience. This is a crucial concept because there are many things to take into consideration in the science of Yoga beyond just muscles and bones. When we look deeper into the essence of Yoga, the whole approach to teaching and practicing Yoga becomes different.

 

The Āsana series works directly on the Prāna (essential life force) and is a medtitative flow designed to alow each person to drop their conscious mind and intuitively sense their way deeper into the Āsana.

 

This series builds your system from your current level up. We welcome you to come and have a wholesome experience with yourself.
